When I was teaching it was also SO hard to do (mostly because you have SO many kids), but I am hopeful that all that practice will help me do it with my own children. Lior has just started initiating imaginary games and asking for specific things in the last few months, so I’m keen to start now, even on a small level.

I agree also that it’s a double sided reward. It really is a joy to sit down at the end of the day and know that you have really connected with your kid, and been able to witness them learning and enjoying themselves on such an intimate level!
